IT, Project Management Office Intern (Summer 2020)

Position Overview:

The IT Intern, Program Management Office (PMO) will be responsible for collecting valuable information about our IT systems and projects and keeping our project management database up-to-date.  This role will work with the Enterprise Program Management Office (EPMO) team to conduct project review meetings, portfolio rationalization meetings, analyze data, and make recommendations to the IT leadership team to optimize overall IT organization performance.



  • Collect asset information about our current IT portfolio.
  • Work with the PMO team to review projects as they move from stage gates.
  • Create meeting minutes from PMO meetings.
  • Assist teams with new projects, create new PM (project management) designed SharePoint sites and Innotas updates.
  • Write articles for the monthly PMO newsletter.
  • Assist with other IT projects as assigned.


Required Qualifications

  • Junior or Senior year standing (as of Fall 2020) at accredited 4 year university/college.
  • Pursuing a full-time undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Minimum of a cumulative GPA of 3.0 required to submit resume to Terex Career Database.
  • Desire to build a career in IT project management/business analysis.
  • Track record of demonstrable accomplishments in school and at work.

  • Proficient in the Microsoft Office 2010 product suite.

  • Able to communicate clearly, effectively, and professionally in stressful situations.

  • Intellectual curiosity - desire to learn.
