Early Career - Finance Rotational Program

The Finance Leadership Development Program (FLDP) immerses high potential talent in three 12-month assignments in various areas of Terex. Rotations may include corporate finance and accounting functions, operational finance, Terex Financial Services or Global Business Services, and may be anywhere in the world. The cross-functional assignments will provide an opportunity to expand your Finance skills and your knowledge of Terex’s business. We expect FLDP participants to advance as leaders at Terex, as the cross-functional exposure creates well-rounded team members who understand how the business works and how the Finance function contributes to our company’s success.


The FLDP is open to candidates who have a track record of good performance, are flexible with regards to relocation and/or extensive travel, and who are committed to completing the program.  Applications for the FLDP are being accepted now, with first rotations starting in June 2019.



Rotations will be in three of the four areas below. Responsibilities may include –


Corporate Accounting

  • Improve monthly and quarterly analytics
  • Create a quarterly corporate accounting newsletter that can be used to communicate important information regarding projects or transactions that are being worked on, along with reminders of key deliverables' timing
  • Create reports, perform daily sales reconciliations and load exchange rates into OneStream

Audit Services

  •          Participation in domestic and international financial control audits and IT audits
  •          Participation in audit follow-up process
  •          Participation in special projects (e.g., investigations)
  •          Participate in annual risk assessment and planning process


  • Manage the cash desk which includes executing wire transfers, sales and repayments of accounts receivable, and borrowings and repayments under the revolver
  • International cash forecasting in support of FX hedging and cash mobilization activities
  • Cash reporting including daily cash balances, Free Cash Flow, bank accounts and counter-party exposures
  • Proactive credit analysis and documented credit reviews of key customers to support open account credit limits.  Reporting of credit limits, utilization and past dues.    

Operational Finance

  • Build a forecast/budgeting database to compare budgets to actuals, forecast to forecast, forecast to budget etc.
  • Build and maintain standard reports, including inventory aging and purchase price variance.



  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related discipline from an accredited college
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA required
  • Track record of demonstrable accomplishments in school and at work
  • Commitment to three 12-month assignments
  • Ability to relocate anywhere globally
