Position Overview
As part of the Genie Service team, this position will be to coordinate all elements of the Genie Heavy Maintenance program including scheduling, customer liaison, reporting, resource management, materials and parts planning, issue resolution, logistics, and working with 3rd party suppliers. The position will work closely with the national customer service team and branch managers to ensure successful and efficient delivery of the heavy maintenance program.


  • Ensure compliance to the Genie Australia documented quality system, policies, procedures, work instructions as well as, statutory and regulatory requirements.
  • Comply with all safe work practices & procedures and participate in safety inspections; ensure a thorough understanding of the responsibilities in fire evacuations and other emergency procedures is maintained.
  • Ensure that repairs and overhauls are completed to Genie Industries and Australian Standards and the work instructions are completed;
  • Completion of documentation relating to all machinery movements at all times
  • Liaise with workshop management & stock controller regarding machine status and requirements whenever directed and in a courteous and respectful manor;
  • Monitoring, upkeep and reporting any concerns relating to equipment property, team members and utilities;


Skills & Experience

Education / Training

  • A current trade certificate with a Mechanical / Fitting Background or equivalent experience
  • A Current Driver’s License
  • Experience in a similar role is desirable


  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Self-motivated with an ability to manage time and workload autonomously and within the overall team environment
  • Capable of reviewing technical problems in detail
  • A positive approach is essential to success in this position


  • Some interstate travel is required as needed
