Position Overview:

The Customer Quality Engineer will provide support and administration of customer quality systems (Salesforce). It will provide strong visibility of customer issues, associated projects, and progress in the form of a dashboard-syle format with critical succes indicators. This position will act as a primary point of contact for customer quality relations to include: customer site visits, new bid support and on-site support for customer visits.  It will be the liasion with sales and commercial team, lead investigations to identify root causes as well a corrective and preventative actions. The Customer Quality Engineer will also link customer warranty data to metric reporting, drive design and manufacture quality improvements.  It will also support the  customer  perspective audit program and make improvements.  Will be responsible to generate training materials and programs and conduct training sessions. It will ensure all products are manufactured in compliance with product requirements, safety standards and design specifications.


Basic Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of Industrial experience
  • Bachelor's Degree


Preferred Qualifications:

  • 4 year technical degree
  • Skilled with computers, including Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, PPT)
  • Hands-on manufacturing/engineering experience in a fabrication/assembly shop environment
  • Customer Service experience
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to teach other team members
  • Ability to compile and analyze data
  • Technical expertise to identify root cause through data analysis
  • Ability to evaluate, develop and implement improvements quickly
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and within a team
  • Ability to coordinate assignments among multiple support groups and provide direction for project team members
  • Ability to evaluate product and process change requests to ensure product quality is not compromised
  • Ability to work well under compressed time constraints
