<span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Position Overview

<span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">This position works under direct supervision while assembling components. Following instruction is key in performing all responsibilities. This position will be responsible for areas including electrical, mechanical, and/or hydraulic equipment. Handles basic issues and problems, and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff.

 

<span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Responsibilities

  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Adhere to Terex safety policies and procedures
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Adhere to and promote The Terex Way Values
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Ability to understand assembly instructions which includes but not limited to reading and interpreting diagrams
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Perform repetitive assembly and adjustments of electrical, mechanical, and/or hydraulic equipment according to instructions
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Manufacture fiberglass components to specifications
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Use hand tools and equipment in a safe manner to complete assemblies
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Maintain clean work area and participate in 5s standards
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Maintain tools and equipment in working condition
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Troubleshoot basic issues and problems
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Flex into other areas and departments as needed
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">All other duties as assigned

 

<span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Basic Qualifications

  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">0-2 years of manufacturing experience  

 

<span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Preferred Qualifications

  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">High School Diploma and/or equivalent experience
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Possess beginning to working knowledge of the subject matter
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Ability to read and understand blueprints
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Ability to accurately read and understand tape measurements
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Ability to operate a variety of equipment such as simple hand tools and hand-powered hydraulic material handling devices
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Possess basic welding skills
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Understand and demonstrate basic computer skills

 

 

Physical Requirements of the Job

<span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Physical requirements of the job are classified as medium to heavy. Physical demand requirements are in excess of light work. Medium to heavy work is defined as:

  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">10 to 40 pounds of force frequently, may include pushing, pulling and lifting
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">40 to 100 pounds of force occasionally with assistance of machinery or others to move objects
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Ability to stand on concrete for 10+ hours per shift

  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Ability to maintain the integrity of confidential business and product information
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Ability to have <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">acceptable attendance for company standard; provides adequate notification; aware of impact on organization
