Supervisor, Warehouse and Box Office

Southaven, MS, US

The Warehouse/Box Shop Supervisor will work closely with the Terex Operations team and CEVA 3PL team to manage up to a team of 6 team members and all related Boxshop activities. This includes but not limited to controlling and monitoring box shop supplies, setting/managing team member schedules and timecards, Boxshop Inventory control and processes, as well as other needed managerial functions within the Warehouse environment per Terex Operation needs.

 

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Create and foster an environment focused on Excellent Customer Service
  • Motivate, train, develop and coach employees to meeting the Terex Way
  • Assure accuracy and completion of daily operations to include shipping, receiving, packaging, order fulfillment, etc.
  • Develop and maintain standards to ensure inventory accuracy (Controlling Box In and Box Out Inventory scan locations)
  • Implement corporate change initiatives within the facility
  • Plan, assign, supervise, and evaluate employee workloads, as well as interface directly with all levels of facility staff
  • Maintain a workplace centered around 5s and teamwork as per Terex standards.
  • Manage and record supply usage for account and government audits.
  • Projects on parts as needed for stock or order fulfillment to OEM specifications.
  • Preform repairs or help maintenance in repairs to equipment used in the box shop per Terex requirements.
  • Other Terex support related functions per Operations requests

 

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 3+ years supervisory warehouse and/ or distribution experience
  • Proficiency with PC to include Word, Excel, Outlook, Oracle TMS and Telenet (RF functionality)

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • College degree
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively implement change
  • Related technical ability and good understanding of distribution processes
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Understanding and support of Company policies and procedures
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Proven ability to work in and promote in a diverse workplace
  • Support Terex’s continuous improvement activities
  • Excellent organization and interpersonal-relations skills
  • Strong orientation toward quality, 5s and continuous improvement
  • Understanding of lean manufacturing principles
