IT Business Analyst - Parts & Services (Hybrid)

Position Overview

The Business Analyst will serve as a liaison between the Global Parts and Services function and the IT organization in order to provide technical solutions to meet user needs. The ideal candidate will analyze business partner’s operations to understand their strengths and weaknesses to determine opportunities to automate processes and functions; assist in the business process redesign and documentation as needed for new technology; translate high level business requirements into functional specifications for the IT organization and manage changes to such specifications; and advise the IT teams on the direction of the business.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with the Parts and Services Business and IT teams to elicit, analyze, translate, and document business and technical requirements
  • Develop an understanding of how solutions will impact present and future business needs
  • Work with end users to determine needs (data, screens, processes, reports) and develop scope
  • Draft detailed specifications that reflects the user’s needs
  • Analyze, document and test program development, logic, process flows and specifications and make recommendations where improvements can be made
  • Support the implementation of systems to create an experience that positions Terex as the first choice among peers for parts and services
  • Partner with business users to document test cases and conduct user acceptance testing
  • Document user manuals to describe application installation and operating procedures
  • Coordinate the project resources to ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget

 

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum three years’ experience, preferably in a Business Analyst role.
  • Analytical and project management skills, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements
  • Previous experience with ERP (functions like order management, warehouse management, fulfillment and
    transportation) and CRM applications from an implementation / support perspective is desirable
  • Good Understanding of SQL

  • Flexible work arrangements available (preference of 2 days in-office, if able)

 

Travel Requirements

  • Willing and able to travel as needed, 10% or less
