Field Service Coordinator

Terex Utilities is growing and expanding our service support across the US to continue to help serve our communities by listening, responding and delivering solutions. As part of the Field Service support team, the Field Service Coordinator is responsible for supporting the in-field Technicians by coordinating calls with customers, quoting jobs, and ensuring all invoices are processed in a timely manner. 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate calls
  • Invoicing
  • Quoting
  • Inventory control
  • Scheduling of jobs with the Field Service Team for the most efficient customer support possible
  • Respond to customer complaints, telephone requests and walk-in customers
  • Analyze and prepare quotes for customers
  • Maintain various reports as required
  • Enter data into ERP system as necessary and utilize MS Office applications
  • Support and lead team of 10 to 12 technicians
  • Lead monthly communication call with assigned team of technicians
  • Co-manage business with the Field Tech Supervisor in assigned territory (Customer Service, Revenue, Absorption, Margin and expenses)

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in support services type position
  • Proficient MS Office skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ability to communicate effectively by phone or email with remote team
  • Customer focused and collaborative team player
  • Effective organizational skills- (time management)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Mechanical background a plus
  • Business management a plus
  • General parts, automotive and rental services experience a plus
  • Estimation, quoting, planning, project management and invoicing experience a plus
  • Oracle Experience a plus
