Entry Level Mobile Field Mechanic - Sacramento, CA

We are looking for: 

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Must be able to succesfully pass MVR
  • Must be able to obtain an active DOT qualification
  • Must live within 100 miles of Sacramento, CA


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience, educational background and/or desire to learn mechanics, electronics, or hydraulic systems. Truck-mounted hydraulic utility equipment and/or aerial work platforms preferred
  • Troubleshooting capability in mechanical, hydraulic and/or electrical systems
  • Strong customer service and safety focused mindset
  • Basic computer and shop math skills
  • Ability to read basic blueprints, drawings and work orders
  • Ability to perform the essential physical functions including frequent stooping, bending, squatting, and kneeling under/above equipment, lifting up to 75 pounds. Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
  • Ability work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work in a team-based, safety focused workplace
  • Ability to travel overnight within assigned region
  • Some trade school or equivalent training
  • Strong reliability, initiative and positive attitude
  • Willingness and eagerness to meet and exceed deadlines and goals while learning and growing in a fast past, team-focused environment  
  • Own basic job-related tools
