Scheduler - Materials

Job Title: Scheduler, Redmond WA
 

Responsibilities

 

  • Manage and maintain accuracy of Master Production Schedules for all lines.
  • Be a key participant and/or facilitate projects related to production control process improvements, capacity studies, new product development planning, and other major facility projects.
  • Print, deliver, track and maintain Build Sheet integrity for production lines.
  • Facilitate sales order change requests and production sequence changes.
  • Make modifications to schedules as requested.
  • Take on extra projects and duties as assigned.
  • Maintenance and setup of slot scheduling constraints in Oracle and maximum daily capacity information for Kanban system.
  • Monitor ECNs to ensure implementation requirements are met.

 

Qualifications

 

Basic Qualifications

 

  • 2+ years’ experience (or Bachelor's Degree) working in an OEM manufacturing facility in the areas of Supply Chain Management, Production Control or Scheduling.
  • 1+ years of experience in a Lean Manufacturing Environment, which includes Production practices and scheduling; and/or Educational training in these areas.
  • 2+ years of experience in a decision-making environment.
  • 2+ years of strong usage with Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and other basic functions

 

 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s Degree (in Supply Chain Management, Materials Management, Business Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field) preferred.
  • Intermediate to advanced MS Word/MS Excel skills preferred. Strong experience with formulas and formatting desired. Experience with pivot table, macros, visual basic is a huge plus
  • Problem solving skills: 5 Why or equivalent problem-solving training and ability to identify the problem, root cause and implement an effective countermeasure.
  • Verbal and Written Presentation Skills: ability to effectively communicate direction to all levels of the organization.
  • Understanding of inventory control systems and Bill of Material (knowledge of Oracle strongly desired).
