Project Manager - NPD Project Implementation

We are seeking a Project Manager to be accountable for New Product Development Project Implementation for AWP Redmond New Product Development.  This requires managing several concurrent projects varying in size and complexity in the areas of New Product Development and other strategic initiatives.


In this position you will:

  • Lead the implementation of all assigned projects.
  • Develop project plans in alignment with the organization’s strategic plans and objectives.
  • Build support to influence decisions in order to ensure aligned work towards common objectives.
  • Manage internal customer expectations from initial opportunity identification and through the project lifecycle.
  • Develop processes to gain all required approval and signoff(s) of each project as necessary.
  • Develop root cause analyses and process improvement plans.
  • Maintain all project artifacts.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Management, Marketing disciplines or similar; in lieu of degree, will consider candidates with 7+ years of experience in a PM role using methodologies and PM principles


Preferred qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years experience in a PM role using methodologies and PM principles
  • Experience working with process improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma or Lean
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.
  • Bachelor’s degree and significant combination of education and PM experience.
  • Experience managing projects with multiple project teams and disciplines.
  • Experience with PM methodologies and software.
  • Experience making formal and informal presentations to cross-functional teams, including, senior management and key stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and modifying process standards and objectives as appropriate.
  • Demonstrated management skills and the ability to work effectively to build relationships with department managers and support teams.
  • Experience working with process improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma or Lean.
