About the Job

This position is responsible for managing the AWP Parts Pricing administration team - recommending pricing strategies, price management systems, and developing rules and standards to deliver on financial goals.


Role Responsibilities:

  •  Manage and lead the global AWP Parts Pricing team. Plan team tasks and lead the team to ensure the activity completion. Track the status of the project and review with team members. Ensure all new TMs follow the training plan.
  • Implement the new pricing tool Syncron. Create new pricing logic and new set up in Syncron. Configure next phase project requirements from business view and able to implement in the new tool. Work closely with IT team and Syncron team to ensure new system meet business requirements.
  • Conducts market research and oversees the maintenance of historical pricing data.
  • Provide expertise in mathematical modeling, statistics, or other quantitative techniques that translate complex data into actions to help drive strategic direction of company pricing and promotional discounting by designing new pricing programs and monitoring their effectiveness with the goal of continuous improvement in price realization.
  • Provide input into budgeting and forecasting process, including assisting in developing specific revenue management initiatives.
  • Assess competitor price positions and price strategy, draw similarities and differences with company strategy and makes recommendations as needed.
  • Assist in developing executive level presentations related to overall pricing strategy, execution of pricing optimization project, and pricing program effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with sales, finance and the commercial team as needed in designing and implementing customer pricing models to maximize revenue effectiveness.
  • Work with cross functional teams to support the implementation and execution of proposed processes.  This will include creating appropriate training and support materials for end users, developing business rules & monitoring their effectiveness as well as maintenance of the solution tools.

About You

Basic Qualifications

  •  Bachelors degree in finance, mathematics, statistics, economics, actuarial science or related business discipline. 
  • Advanced level MS Excel with strong mathematical and analytic skills.
  • Self-starter with strong analytical, critical thinking and problem solving skills; able to work independently as well as in fast-paced, cross-functional teams. Must have good time and project management skills and attention to detail.
  • Needs to be able to demonstrate significant experience and aptitude in business data capture, analysis and planning.
  • Strong communication skills.


Preferred Qualifications

  • 4 years related experience.
  • Ability to work in Redmond, WA. 
  • Previous experience in a Multi-National Aftermarkets pricing or sales environment.
  • Experience with a Business to Business or Business to Customer Price Optimization software solution.
  • Needs to be able to demonstrate significant experience and aptitude in business data capture, analysis and planning.
  • Ability to effectively gather and present information at status meetings.
  • Experience making formal and informal presentations to cross functional teams, including senior management and key stakeholders.
  • Ability to develop, direct, motivate and gain the commitment of teams.
  • MBA or other advanced degree would be an advantage.
