Expeditor - Temp Assignment

Redmond, WA, US

We are seeking a professional to work with our purchasing team, suppliers and logistical contacts to manage expediting and backordered parts clear through receipt of materials.

This position will consist of but is not limited to collecting shortage information, providing updates to the appropriate parties, tracking shipments,  ensuring receipt of materials up to and including collecting them from various locations and determining allocation once materials are onsite.

 

 

Responsibilities

In this position you will:

 

  • Be the point person to track inventory on order/in transit/on site for constrained suppliers.
  • Audit 3PL for Inventory levels. - Physical counts as needed, track shipments.
  • Provide Line assessment for on hand inventory.
  • Provide additional support on site to the team.
  • Manage runout sheets for site and supplier.
  • Issue Firm PO's into the future as directed, using requirement data from site.
  • Track containers and major shipments from critical suppliers - Manage and audit the delivery schedule.
  • Work with site scheduling functions to understand daily/weekly requirements at a part level.
  • Be a resource for data collection, validation for MRP implementation.
  • Support supplier expediting activities (Laughlin, Anixter, Danfoss, Eaton, Hydra-force)

 

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Ability to remain organized, manage time and properly engage with suppliers and team members within Terex / Genie.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Previous experience with Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
  • Ability to operate a motor vehicle

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

  • Basic knowledge of supply chain.
  • Previous experience expediting parts.
