Real World Responsibilities:


Lead/assist in completing plant objectives through executing daily and weekly improvement projects utilizing the PDCA method.  Activities shall include, but not limited to:

  • Train of team members in areas such as pull production, 5S/Visual Management, Standard Work, Just in Time production techniques.
  • Utilize root cause problem solving tools to solve technical problems
  • Document work process information such as; process flow (People and Material) and time studies
  • Lead improvement workshops, with guidance and support of Lean Workshop Leader.
  • Implementation of process and equipment improvements as directed.

    Must haves:

  •  Bachelor’s Degree in Business/Accounting, Engineering, or a related field by hire date

    Nice to haves:

  • Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing tools and techniques.
  • Ability to facilitate group problem solving activities in a structured manner.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Good presentation skills are a must.
  • Track record of implementing improvement opportunities
  • Strong PC skills including MS Office.
  • Ability to work flexible hours.
