At Terex Services, we are constantly expanding our service capabilities and growing our teams to best serve our customers by listening, responding and delivering solutions.  Our Heavy Equipment Shop Mechanics assess, diagnose, repair, refurbish, replace, and complete Life Cycle Solutions on a variety of mobile equipment including Terex Utility and Genie brand equipment.  With on-going factory training and development, world-class technical support and well-equipped, supportive and safe work environment, you are ensured a long and rewarding career with Terex.

Basic Qualifications:

  • High school graduate or GED
  • 2+ years recent mechanic experience

 

Preferred qualifications:

  • 5+ years in a similar field
  • Excellent communication skills both oral and written.
  • Experience with utility-type equipment
  • Fluid Power experience or knowledge
  • Needs to own or supply own tools
  • Basic computer skills
  • Experience and/or educational background related to mechanics, electronics, or hydraulic systems. Truck-mounted hydraulic utility equipment and/or aerial work platforms preferred
  • Solid troubleshooting fundamentals with mechanical, hydraulic and/or electrical systems
  • Strong customer service and safety focused mindset
  • Solid computer and shop math skills
  • Ability to interpret blueprints, drawings and work orders
  • Ability to perform the essential physical functions including frequent stooping, bending, squatting, and kneeling under/above equipment, lifting up to 75 pounds. Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
  • Ability work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work in a team-based, safety focused workplace
  • Strong reliability, initiative and positive attitude
  • Willingness and eagerness to meet and exceed deadlines and goals while learning and growing in a fast past, team-focused environment
