Training & Development Engineer

The Training & development Engineer will be responsible for creating, planning and delivering technical product training to our worldwide dealer network as well as supporting the dealer sales teams with machine application solutions.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

 

  • Create and update product training presentations covering Terex Finlay mobile Crushing, screening and conveying equipment
  • Creating and updating training presentations relating to product application support
  • Coordinating and successfully delivering structured training schools in the Terex Omagh facility or abroad to teams from the worldwide dealer network or existing personnel from within the business
  • Co-ordinate & conduct E-Learning sessions via dedicated online training portal
  • Attend trade shows, conferences or open days as part of the sales support team
  • Provide effective Technical Sales Support to the Terex Finlay dealer network with the aid of Aggflow Simulation Software and Visio site layouts.
  • Participate in on-site machine testing to determine performance levels and capacities as part of product technical sales support
  • Assisting with onsite machine installations and calibration ensuring optimum machine performance
  • Identify and undertake additional personal development courses to continually improve your training & presentation skills

 

 

Experience & Qualifications:

 

  • Engineering Degree or similar
  • Creativity, innovative thinking and excellent organizational skills
  • Good English communication skill, both written and spoken
  • Competent with Microsoft Office tools
  • Experience of mobile crushing and screening equipment or industrial environment desirable

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

 

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A high level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Proven ability to present to groups of people
  • Effective project management and planning / organizational skills
  • Someone who cultivates a team spirit with the respect of others’ ideas and requirements
  • Capable of working on their own initiative and as part of a team as and when required
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks / projects at one time
  • Able to assess workload and commit to realistic timelines with given resources
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Willingness to travel extensively abroad
