Supply Chain Analyst

About the Job

  • Analyze part costs within Terex bills of material (BOM) to identify and understand change drivers
  • Create and manage forecasting and scenario analysis tools for Terex products and part cost rolls ups, raw material spend, and price and volume changes
  • Support the financial forecast and operational review processes through the classification and reporting of purchase price variances (PPV)
  • Identify and implement improvements which increase accuracy, automation, and functionality across various analytical and reporting systems and processes
  • Work with internal category management teams to administer supplier price updates, with a focus on improving transparency and automation
  • Back up the tactical supply chain function, including part price changes, purchase order creation, invoice reconciliation, and supplier record updates
  • Collaborate with groups across various functions, including sourcing, finance, and engineering

 

About You

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in data analytics, supply chain, finance, statistics, or similar field
  • Desire to work in office environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong problem-solving analytical skills
  • Attention to detail

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience or education in both data analytics and supply chain
  • Self-starter
  • Positive and energetic
  • Understanding of relational databases (Oracle)
  • Familiarity with VBA, Oracle SQL, R, or other programming languages
