HR Intern

Oklahoma City, OK, US

This Human Resource Intern will be responsible with assisting the HR Team employee-focused duties.  In addition, the HR Intern will be exposed to all areas of Human Resources (Recruiting, Benefits, HRIS, Payroll, Generalist) within the department and will receive additional assignments/projects as needed.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the recruitment/selection processes for Production Team Members, Team Leaders, Group Leaders, and Professional positions 
  • Review resumes, schedule interviews, conduct background checks, drug screens, and reference checks.
  • Learn how to conduct behavioral-based interviews and assessments for Team Members, Team Leaders, and Group Leaders
  • Assists with conducting and coordinating orientations for new Team Members
  • Assist with other duties and/or projects as needed

 

Qualifications:

  • In pursuit of a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or a related field (sophomore or junior preferred)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work within a team environment
  • Focus on continuous improvement and flexibility to assist the department in any needed area
