About the Position:


Title:                           EMEAR Product Manager (Parts)

Reports to:                Director Products, AWP Global Parts Marketing

Location:                   Netherlands, UK, other Terex Europe locations



Position Overview:

The EMEAR Product Manager (EPM) is a role on the Parts Product Management team that works with the individual product managers to support existing global programs for the EMEAR market. The EPM also works to develop new programs specific to the EMEAR market, as well as support the development of new and existing product sources in the EMEAR market area.



  • Understand markets, customers, and economics for the EMEAR market area.
  • Maintains current knowledge of the competitive products and projects future strategies by competitors.
  • Works with the Product Managers to create, manage and execute new product introduction strategies for the EMEAR market.
  • In conjunction with the product managers, develops and executes pricing strategies, fully understanding Genie product value versus the competition.
  • Works with the product managers to ensure the development of the marketing plans & campaigns to support the business plan and strategy for the EMEAR market.
  • Makes recommendations for innovative solutions to improve our short-term and long-term competitive position, including cost downs and improved market share.
  • Identifies opportunities for differentiation of our products and industry leadership.
  • Suggests pricing strategies, analyze new business ventures, and assist key customers with marketing information and strategies.
  • Performs other duties as assigned that support the overall objective of the position and the Enterprise.



Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree 
  • A minimum of five years of product and marketing management experience
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build relationships, prepare and deliver formal presentations
  • Well-developed problem solving skills
  • Strong time management skills
  • Leadership under ambiguity


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Degree in Engineering, Business or Marketing
  • MBA 
  • Knowledge of business financials, business principles, and business processes
  • Strong focus on customer responsiveness
  • Advanced knowledge of the principles and practices involved in new business development, product marketing, and sales
  • Understanding of the manufacturing, engineering, supply chain, financial, and product support process



  • Fluency in English (written and spoken).  Second/third language (French, German, Italian, Spanish) is beneficial




  • Must be willing and able to travel 10 - 20%
