Customer Service Representative (temporary)

Job Purpose:
 

The primary purpose of this role is to carry out day to day requirements of a busy, multilingual and international Customer Service Department in the mechanical equipment industry. Main role is to sustain good customer and sales relationships, maintenance of complex order management process, communicating with different stakeholders, to deliver excellent customer service.

 

 

Main Tasks / Responsibilities:

 

  • Receive and process customer purchase orders in TMS system (Oracle), ensuring accuracy with configuration, terms and pricing
  • Case management and checking on backlog (Salesforce)
  • Quote lead times, pricing, freight
  • Respond to customer and internal sales requirements in efficient, prompt and professional manner
  • Operational collaboration with other departments such as finance, technical, shipping, for fulfillment of customer requirements
  • Maintain and develop customer relationships in partnership with sales team
  • Resolve issues related to order fulfillment with timely, tactful communication
  • Regional and International shipping
  • Health & Safety Compliance
  • Audit Compliance and adherence to process and policies
  • Develop Skills through Training
  • Reporting and system updates

 

 

Education / qualifications:
 

  • MBO(+) educational level
  • Language: fluent in English
  • Additional language: Affinity with the French language
