RPA Lead (Remote)

About the Position:

Title: RPA Lead 

Reports to: Senior Manager – Business Engagement 

Location: Remote eligible – must be in Eastern or Central time zone  


Position Overview:

The RPA Lead will be a leading role in our Robotic Process Automation Team. They will work closely with Finance and Shared Services teams for all their automation initiatives and participate in all the phases of automations. This includes planning, application and solution design, development of custom solutions with the help of third-party vendors, application integration, and monitoring. 



  • Provide technical leadership regarding automation in a wide variety of methods 

  • Lead or participate in projects, solution implementations, upgrades, and enhancements while fostering relationships with internal customers and stakeholders 

  • Develop and provide leadership to the Automation COE 

  • Enable citizen development through training and governance 

  • Remain current regarding IT industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in the industry

  • Ensure compliance with company polices, audit requirements, and data privacy acts 

  • Define, prioritize, and manage automation initiatives 

  • Establish automation vendor relationships and maintains a forward-looking view of vendor direction 

  • Monitor, maintain and enhance existing automations in collaboration with vendors 

  • Design technical specification documentation for RPA Projects 

  • Design a complete technical architecture for RPA projects making sure the architecture is extensible and scalable

  • Perform process analysis, implement business and technical requirements, and test automations, including UAT and bug fixes

  • Support new RPA processes and use of core workflow principles that are efficient, well structured, maintainable, and easy to understand

  • Manage RPA Servers and Resources with support from Global Infrastructure, Operations and Support GIOS team 


Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ yrs. of experience in Information Technology 

  • 4 yrs. prior experience in design, development, testing and implementation of Robotics Process Automation (RPA) solutions 

  • At least 1-2 yrs. of relevant RPA bot development / implementation experience in one of the following market platforms: Blueprism, Automation Anywhere, and / or UiPath 

  • Bachelors degree in related field

  • Excellent research, analytical, and critical thinking skills. Ability to analyze information/data, identify trends, draw conclusions, and make recommendations 

  • Strong verbal and written communications skills with the ability to facilitate crucial conversations and influence stakeholders

  • Ability to evaluate customer and stakeholder needs when developing recommendations

  • Experience with establishing RPA Center of Excellence 

  • Experience managing technology programs / projects / products 

  • Passion for developing members of your team and promoting their continued professional growth 

  • Must have solid understanding of REST, SOAP APIs both in XML and JSON formats 

  • Must have solid understanding of SQL Queries, functions, and procedures 

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; Efficient time management and organizational skills 

  • Ability to illustrate and understand business processes and workflows – Experience using Excel, Visio, and other reporting tools 

  • Prior knowledge of process mapping, process re-design and change management 

  • Experience working with a cross-functional team to achieve business results with specific focus on the customer experience


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience programming in Excel VBO or .NET/C# 

  • Blueprism, PMP or Agile Certified

  • Experience working with Agile methodology

  • Programming knowledge of Python or PowerShell

  • Experience of using IDP tool (Decipher, ABBYY or any other) 

  • Experience using Oracle E-Business Suite or any other ERP system

  • Experience of AI and Machine learning 

  • Experience of working with Finance & Manufacturing

  • Experience in implementing Chatbots
