Warehouse/Shipping Supervisor (Genie Machine Parts Warehouse) North Bend, WA

Location: North Bend, Washington

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:30am -5pm


This position manages Genie West Coast parts distribution center located in North Bend, WA. This is a high velocity warehouse environment supporting customers and replenishing other Terex distribution centers worldwide.  This position is responsible for managing and mentoring team member and team leader level direct reports and will work with cross functional management teams to meet facility goals.


North Bend is 30 miles east of Seattle, WA with a beautiful drive and view. Genie North Bend location has eight main departments (Safety, Warehouse, Manufacturing, Logistics, Supply Chain, Quality, HR, and Engineering/Maintenance). Team members perform fun and productive hands-on experience with putting together Genie parts, machines, and packages for customers.



  • Manages multiple priorities and projects while ensuring daily targets are achieved
  • Monitor and approve team member timesheets in ADP
  • Leads continuous improvement in safety, quality, and delivery and cost
  • Develops and maintains team leaders' standard work, SOP’s  and KPI data
  • Work with warehouse management to determine and maintain proper staffing levels
  • Trains and coaches Team Members on safety, quality,delivery, cost and morale
  • Conducts interviews, make hiring decisions, and  have 1:1 discussions with team members with ongoing basis
  • Ensures team members have clear expectations and regular feedback on performance
  • Fosters team work and create a culture of improvement
  • Work with HR and temporary agency recruiting team to fill open positions in the warehouse

Basic Qualifications:

  • At least 4 years of experience as a supervisor in a team environment.
  • Bachelor’s Degree


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proven ability to construct and manage a warehouse in accordance with accepted quality standards and systems, JIT practices, and Lean practices
  • Able to coordinate and prioritize technical, administrative, and production resources to solve root cause issues
  • Demonstrated ability to plan/manage annual and monthly budgets
  • General knowledge of OSHA/WISHA safety standards and implementation of ergonomic principles
  • Demonstrated project management skills
  • Experience with PC software such as MS Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint and WMS systems
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to motivate and train others
  • Flexible to work extra hours daily if needed with short notice
  • Clear understanding of international shipping requirements and customs documentation
  • Knowledge of DOT HAZ-MAT shipping regulations and DOT training certification
  • Master’s Degree
