Parts Warehouse Manager (Genie, North Bend)

North Bend, WA, US

This position manages Genie West Coast parts distribution center located in North Bend, WA. This is a high velocity warehouse environment supporting customers and replenishing other Terex distribution centers worldwide.  This position is responsible for managing and mentoring supervisor and team lead level direct reports and will work with cross functional management teams to meet facility goals.



  • Manages multiple priorities and projects while ensuring daily targets are achieved
  • Leads continuous improvement in safety, quality, and delivery and cost
  • Develops and maintains leader standard work, SOP’s  and KPI data
  • Prepares budgets and monitor costs
  • Determines and maintains proper staffing levels
  • Trains and coaches Team Members
  • Ensures team members have clear expectations and regular feedback on performance
  • Fosters team work and create a culture of improvement

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years’ experience managing in a warehouse
  • Bachelor’s Degree


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proven ability to construct and manage a warehouse in accordance with accepted quality standards and systems, JIT practices, and Lean practices
  • Able to coordinate and prioritize technical, administrative, and production resources to solve root cause issues
  • Demonstrated ability to plan/manage annual and monthly budgets
  • General knowledge of OSHA/WISHA safety standards and implementation of ergonomic principles
  • Demonstrated project management skills
  • Experience with PC software such as MS Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint and WMS systems
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to motivate and train others
  • Flexible to work extra hours daily if needed with short notice
  • Clear understanding of international shipping requirements and customs documentation
  • Knowledge of DOT HAZ-MAT shipping regulations and DOT training certification
  • Master’s Degree
