Photographer and Manufacturing Engineering Tech Assoc

Responsibilities:

  • This position has a primary responsiblity for capturing high quality 35mm digital part images utilizing robotic machinery and other scanning equipment to aid in producing documentation for our parts systems.
  • Must have a strong focus on safety, safe work practices and ability to follow procedures and maintain a safe work environment.
  • Other responsibilities include;
  • Perform work within predetermined timelines
  • Work independently or in a team with specific instructions from Supervisor
  • Communicate with manufacturing, materials and engineering team members
  • Develop and document standard work processes, work procedures and instructions
  • Assist with analysis of production methods, processes and process layouts
  • Participate in focused improvement events
  • Perform setup, operations and troubleshooting of digital photography equipment
  • Convey technical concepts to others
  • Perform other duties as assigned that support the overall objective of the position

 

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 2+ years of experience in manufacturing and production support. 
  • 2+ years of  working knowledge and experience with 35mm digital photography and post-processing software

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Two years of university preferred.

  • Excellent PC skills including MS Office programs, Oracle-based ERP systems and HTML.

  • Familiarity with common shop tools and equipment including saws, grinders and drill presses.

  • Can manage small scale projects which may include concept development, project plans, collaborating with internal customers and executing plans to a developed timeline.

  • Experience developing work instructions and detailed process documentation.

  • Working knowledge of engineering drawings, schematics and other data relative to the operation, maintenance and service of equipment or part production.

  • A creative and innovative approach to problem solving
