Total Rewards Analyst (Remote)

Position Overview:

Terex Corporation is looking for a Total Rewards Analyst to join the Corporate Total Rewards Team located in Norwalk, CT.  This position will be based remotely in the United States. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, creative and help streamline and drive improvements in various total rewards processes. Additionally, this candidate will support health and welfare, wellness, 401(k), stock plans, non-qualified executive compensation plans, as well as other benefit plan initiatives. This position will report directly to the Director of Total Rewards, and the Senior Manager, Employee Benefits, and will support team members of all levels.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Serves as primary contact for total rewards related questions and issues. 

  • Assists with day-to-day health and welfare administration, annual open enrollment, benefits onboarding and off boarding, stock plan and benefit related communications.

  • Supports and promotes company-wide health and wellness initiatives.

  • Serve as subject matter expert, acting as a liaison between Finance, HRIS, payroll, external benefit data sources, and team members.

  • Performs weekly/monthly/quarterly audits:  401(k), medical and other total rewards programs to ensure compliance with ERISA, state and federal regulations.

  • Troubleshoots and resolves identified benefit issues.

  • Perform ad-hoc and special requests as required, including managing data interfaced, data updates, and reconciliations.

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent Total Rewards experience. 

  • 3+ years of experience in a similar role.  

  • Knowledge of ERISA, HIPPA, ACA, COBRA and IRS rules and regulations pertaining to the administration of health and welfare, and 401(k). 

  • Strong analytical and excel skills.  Ability to manipulate and interpret data, analyze information, and problem-solve with minimal guidance. 

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Stock Plan and Payroll experience.  

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. 

  • Ability to manage several tasks and priorities. 

  • Excellent interpersonal, teamwork, presentation, and organizational skills.  

  • System knowledge: Fidelity-PSW, ADP, Workday, and online enrollment systems.
