Title: Sales Director – Franna
Location: Hosur
Reports to: Managing Director
This is a key sales management role for Franna Pick & Carry Cranes Sales and distribution group who will manage and grow the business in the India market area and work towards a business practice that leads the industry in customer satisfaction, equipment and parts supply and applications expertise
Responsibilities:
- Expand and achieve sales and market share targets of Franna Pick & Carry Cranes
- Ensure proper sales and service coverage and call frequency in the assigned territory.
- Present product value propositions to customers.
- Implement consistent and industry leading distribution management practices wherever required
- Monitor and manage sales volume, profitability, and account status in the assigned territory.
- Create and submit equipment sales forecasts.
- Provide market feedback related to customer demands and product development needs or ideas.
- Work closely and communicate effectively with applications team, engineers, inside sales team, and parts department
- Build relationships with, and motivate, employees, distribution principles and personnel
- Prepare, implement, monitor, and enforce regional targets
- Quote prices, delivery dates and update customers accordingly
- Provide technical support and guidance to distributors and customers
- Travel throughout the geographic territory as required, Travel approximately 70%
Experience and Qualification:
- 15 years’ experience in Capital Equipment industry. Experience in Cranes Industry would be preferred.
- Proven sales growth record
- Fluency in English
- Engineering Background preferred
- Departmental management experience required
- Positive and energetic individual with leadership and motivational skills
- Ability and willingness to travel as described above
- Professional level knowledge of the principles and practices involved in new business development, product marketing and sales.
- Excellent human relations skills to prepare and deliver formal presentations to customers
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Ability to work independently while coordinating activities with a variety of large teams
- Time and Territory Management practices must be exceptional
