Production Specialist - Materials / Conversions

Moses Lake, WA, US

This position requires a working knowledge of distribution and material flow through the factory.  Must have worked with PFEP generated pick tickets, Kanban signals/cards and picked or replenished inventory in the VS/centralized grocery stores or warehouse.  Requires basic mathematic, computer and analytical skills to read and understand pick orders, supplier pack slips, record and analyze data using TMS, PFEP and data entry.




  • Work as a team or individual on assigned task.
  • Operate AWP, forklift and PIT equipment as needed in a safe manor.
  • Perform other duties such as unit prep fpr shipping and staging.
  • Installation of options on FGI units.
  • Use of hand, air and hydraulic tools required.
  • Installation and removal of decals.
  • Support other company needs as required.




  • Current AWP lift operation certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience at Genie.
  • Excellent written language and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent computer skills including the use of office applications.
  • Have knowledge and on hands expereince of the operation of AWP equipment.
  • Must be self-driven and able to work as a team or independently.
  • Mechanical aptitude is a plus.
  • Critical thinking and analytical skills a plus.
  • Comply with all safety standards.
  • Sufficient interpersonal skills to allow efficient communication with team members, team leads and Supervisors.
    Working Conditions
    Within a manufacturing environment which may require extended periods of time in walking or standing position.   This position is both indoor and outdoor, so can experience extended exposure to the elements in all weather conditions. This position requires repeatedly moving materials weighing up to 40 pounds.
    Standard schedule is Monday – Thursday 4 x 10hrs, but does requiring matching VS overtime.  Friday OT can also be required.
