Position Overview

As a part of its commercial strategy, Terex Corporation goes to market through a combination of direct to end users and dealer distribution channels.  The TFS Regional Director, Dealer Solutions and Inventory Finance, North America will work with our product groups to optimize and provide dealer floorplan finance solutions to support the sale of Terex equipment to its dealer distribution channel in the United States and Canada.  This position will also drive programmatic retail finance sales solutions for dealer end-users in the United States and North America.  The successful candidate will report to the TFS Director, Dealer Solutions and Inventory Finance who is based in the UK.  The role will work closely with Terex equipment segment leadership teams to align & enable commercial strategies in North America while improving the company’s position on net working capital by providing the dealers with a total solution through innovative financing support.


Optimize existing distribution / floorplan finance facilities: 

  • Expand credit availability to dealers with existing inventory finance / floorplan solutions
  • Work cross-functionally and cross-business to drive utilization of available credit
  • Support alignment and development of promotional financing sales programs to encourage utilization
  • Improve cost efficiency for existing distribution / floorplan finance solutions to minimize Terex cost and improve overall market rate competitiveness for Terex customers


Develop / expand Terex distribution & floorplan finance capabilities:  

  • Support design of product capability
  • Drive development and implementation of an Americas based floorplan / Inventory finance programs
  • Negotiate and implement services agreements with global banking partners to provide product capability
  • Establish internal processes and routines to support execution
  • Lead cross-functional and cross-business execution and manage multi-generational project plan
  • Engage Segment and Dealership senior management to socialize product offering, business impact, and requirements
  • Manage banking partnerships


Integrate new product capability with retail financing solutions: 

  • Work collaboratively with Terex business segments to develop new dealer programs and expand existing ones to support Terex retail sales from dealers to end-users
  • Collaborate with Terex segments for the design and implementation of marketing campaigns for the dealer channels
  • Manage subsidy programs and ensure overall business profitability
  • Drive performance against key KPI’s and finance volume targets
  • Work closely with capital markets to facilitate dealer retail solutions


Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in financial services, sales or business management
  • Bachelors degree or 10+ years experience in Financial Services.

  • Ability to travel regularly 40%
  • MBA with a focus in Organizational Management
  • Proven leadership skills and ability to orchestrate resources and motivate teams

  • Experience developing and implementing sales strategies and account planning processes
  • Direct sales or finance experience 
  • Strong business acumen
  • Proven track record in planning, organizing and leading cross-functional projects within deadlines 
  • Proven analytical, problem-solving and process management skills 
  • Experience managing regional, cross-functional initiatives
  • Proven expertise in Structured Receivable finance solutions
  • Experience with dealer floorplan finance solutions in the United States
  • USA Rental Finance Experience
  • Native or fully fluent in English, Spanish is a plus


Travel: expected to be approximately 40% in North America
