Dealer Inventory Planner

Position Overview:

 

CDI (Connected Dealer Inventory) is an initiative within Terex Aftersales whose main objective is helping dealers plan their inventory of Terex parts through a web cloud solution connecting Terex and Dealer systems. The Dealer Inventory Planner will be responsible for developing demand forecasts and stocking proposals for Terex dealers based on their end customer historical demand trends. He / She will be responsible to cover all the operational tasks to develop inventory strategies, processes and tools to improve availability of parts at point of sale. This role will also be responsible for analyzing and monitoring performance of the CDI connected dealers as well as onboarding new dealers in the program.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Basic forecast modeling and analytics
  • Reviewing and Releasing the Inventory Stocking Recommendations to the connected CDI dealers
  • Monitor and report CDI dealers performance and action accordingly
  • Identify and update relevant planning attributes and configurations in the CDI tool
  • Continuously monitor & improve the CDI solution with the overall objective to improve parts availability of PoS
  • Provide accurate and timely reporting - identify business risks and opportunities
  • Actively support development of the overall CDI program, providing coaching & training to internal stakeholders as well as participating dealers
  • Ensure compliance to applicable quality requirements
  • Support as required other Parts & Service related initiatives, such as e-Commerce

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Understanding of material/inventory planning
  • Knowledge of any kind of software related to demand planning is desirable.
  • The ability to demonstrate proficiency in statistics, forecasting with an understanding of their financial and operational impact
  • Excellent computer and Excel skills
  • Excellent written and spoken English, other languages are a plus
  • Structured approach, data-driven and analytical
  • Ability to interact successfully in different cultures
  • Strong collaboration and decision-making skills
  • Good communication and presentation skills

Travel:

 

Must be willing and able to travel (approximately 20%)
