Supplier Quality Engineer

Key Tasks:

  • Work with supplier manufacturing and quality to assure the product received meets specification.
  • Support disposition of non-conforming materials and vendor recovery.
  • Work as a liaison between Advance Mixer, our suppliers, and our warranty group.
  • Work as a liaison between Advance Mixer’s engineering department and our supply base to improve       supplier capability.
  • Interpret supplier PPAPs and data to validate incoming product and source approval.
  • Continually monitor, identify deficiencies, and improve the quality of all business activities in order to enhance internal and external customer satisfaction.


Basic Qualifications:

  • An Associate’s degree is required in relevant subject, technical, or engineering field.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office products
  • Must be able to interpret engineering drawings and specification, including weld specifications
  • Must have experience in CAD, i.e. Autocad, Solidworks preferred


Preferred Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree is preferred, in a relevant subject, technical, or engineering field.
  • Experience in warranty & vendor recovery
  • Experience as a quality engineering in manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with SPC, Statistical Process Control
  • Hands-on Mechanical Experience, heavy equipment, construction, or agricultural equipment preferred.
