Aftermarket Parts Field Sales Rep

The AMP Field Sales Rep position will develop new and manage existing distribution and direct sales for the AMP and Field Service areas of Terex Advance. This position ensures continued sales growth in assigned region, industry or national account. All aspects of field based customer service including: relationship development, problem solving, communication, territory management, training and product demonstrations.

 

Key Tasks:

  • Develop new sales leads an service existing customers
  • Ongoing research of local market and business activities and identify opportunities
  • Manage discount levels and strive to improve company margins
  • Educate customers on prodcuts, service, warranties and technical support
  • Ensure that customers needs are met in regards to parts, field service and other areas as needed.
  • Demonstrate proper techniques of propecting, telemarketing, and quotation and specification writing
  • Communicate and train customers on the features and benefits of Terex Advance Mixers and parts
  • Clearly document problems, issues or deviations from the standard programs
  • Support trade shows and customer demos as appropriate

 

Basic Qualifications

  • A bachelors degree or 5 years of heavy equipment sales experience
  • 5+ years of experience in commercial sales

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Need to be able to travel up to 50%
  • CDL License
  • Previous sales experience specifically with concrete mixer trucks
  • Superior follow-up skills and urgency required
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong business relationships
  • Excellent problem solving skills to develop sales strategies
  • Proficient in MS Office, MS Outlook and Excel. Knowledge of Powerpoint
  • Ability to work independently while coordinating activities with a variety of teams
  • Ability to climb and lift 40 pounds.
