Service Coordinator

Position Summary
The Service Coordinator will deliver exceptional customer service by coordinating customer repairs and liaising with customers on all aspects of the customer repairs, service and account requirements. This position will ensure the highest quality and the highest level of communication and services to our valued customers.

 

Responsibilities

  • Scheduling and planning of workshop and field service jobs.
  • Maintain QLD service schedule.
  • Work in Progress (WIP) maintenance.
  • Responsible for preparing the estimates, providing full details of the repair work required and obtain approval prior to work being carried out, as per SOX requirements.
  • Liaising with suppliers and contractors.
  • Liaising with the Service Manager and Spare Parts Department to ensure all parts have been allocated to jobs and purchase orders have been raised for service repair jobs.
  • Responsible for the verification of customer repairs, confirming alignment with estimates and service job invoicing is completed in a timely manner in line with SOX requirements.
  • Represent the company in its relationships with customers by providing ongoing communication regarding all work, account or invoice queries and credits.
  • Ensuring all service reports and documentation is finalised correctly, all hours and parts have been charged to the jobs accurately. 
  • Responsible for providing operational information to the Service Manager along with any queries as required. 
  • Comply with all Terex policies, procedures and work instructions. 
  • Any other duties as required including taking part in any training as required.
     

Skills & Experience

  • Trade qualified (ideally Mechanical Engineering) desirable but not essential.
  • Experience within a vehicle, equipment, or workshop environment.
  • Hands-on experience with a range of Terex cranes products is desirable.
  • Experience in a similar role.
  • Oracle software experience.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
