Sales Support Representative

Durand, MI, US

The Sales Support Representative reports directly to the Sales Support Manager- Durand and is responsible for completing projects and immediate tasks on many levels.  This role includes the day to day administrative workload, logistics, and communication coordination with the sales, engineering, and production teams.  The Sales Support Representative is a crucial contributor to the order-receipt-to-product-delivery process.  This individual will be required to have keen attention to detail and understanding of procedures and will be responsible for complete accuracy and compliance. The Sales Support Representative must be able to take the initiative on completing tasks with only intermediate guidance. 



  • Understand and execute the Sales Order Process from origination to completion
  • Liaison with Sales, Engineering, and Manufacturing on new product design projects, including special orders, with updates on cost and timing issues
  • Process Change Order Requests relative to customer order specifications
  • Document and file critical machine information in a timely and orderly manner
  • Follow up with customers on miscellaneous delivery, and availability, requests
  • Execute Export & Compliance checks by company policies
  • Attend scheduled Sales, Production, Inventory, Forecast (SPIF) meetings/teleconferences as required
  • Maintain and distribute Excel and PowerPoint-based reports as required
  • Provide Sales team with sales, market and inventory data as required
  • Assist with data collection for dealer inventory/scorecards
  • Assist in preparing equipment quotations for customers and distributors.
  • Assist with the proper selection, use and application of equipment for customer inquires




 Basic Qualifications:

  • A high-school diploma or GED
  • 2+ years of administrative experience in an office setting


 Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong time management skills 
  • Experience in sales based organization
  • Familiarity with engineering bills of material preferred 
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work with a cross-functional team
  • Effective verbal and listening communication skills
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
