Terex-MPS in Durand is part of the Materials Processing segment of Terex with expected annual sales of $36M. Reporting to the Operations Manager you will be responsible for the Supply Chain Function, including site Scheduling, Planning, Logistics and the Warehouse Function. The role will also have responsibility for supporting NPD and for working directly with key stakeholders to drive the function forwards.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

To have full accountability and responsibility for all materials on site
Develop, lead, and execute Supply Chain and Purchasing Strategies and Policies that are aligned with corporate initiatives, while using Lean Techniques to support the wider business.

Define, implement, and regularly improve supply chain KPI’s and targets ensuring clear time plans to reach targets.
Day-to-day management of the Supply Chain Function, including all aspects of people management (including Performance Reviews, Disciplinary, Talent Development)
Perform cost and scenario analysis, and benchmarking
Assisting and working with group level commodity buyers to identify suppliers, gather quotes, and assess lead time and place orders.
Responsible for SOP and scheduling for plant operations
Expediting (internal)
Supporting the ECO process and related procurement activity
Inventory Management – including accurate Cycle Counting (>95% Target both $ value and unit count), management of raw material, completion of month end process
Work cross-functionally with Quality, Finance and Production to ensure compliance with reject note process and to minimize the impact to production.
Responsibility of the import and export of material
Assist with the loading of customer demand into the MRP System
Facilitating the flow of material and finished goods shipments through 3rd Party Logistic Suppliers
Any other duties as deemed appropriate to the role.
Assist leadership team in all SQDCM objectives

Basic Qualifications:

BS in Supply Chain (CIPS), or Business Administration
A minimum of 4 years of experience of working in a materials management or materials supervisory role.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience of managing procurement spend up to $20M
Strong experience/knowledge of MRP Systems (Oracle a strong plus)
Proven track record of managing teams
Evidence of the ability to work to both implement and work to targets and KPI’s to improve performance
Proven negotiation skills and ability to hit on time delivery targets
Proven experience with low-cost country sourcing project management
Effective sourcing and vendor management experience
Strong leadership capabilities
