Material Handler - Fabrication

Position Title:                  Material Handler - Fabs

Location:                          Dungannon      

Reporting to:                   Operations

Employment Type:         Full-time Permanent

 

Reporting to the Production Supervisor, you will work as part a team to handle materials in a safe and efficient manner within our weld halls. You will be responsible for creating a seamless flow of materials to Production.

Responsibilities

  • Efficient and timely handling of all materials
  • Support Production through timely and accurate delivery of Parts
  • Use of PIT in a safe and efficient manner including Counterbalance, Reach Truck, Pallet Stacker, Tugger Truck etc.
  • Processing of Parts received to both Production and Stores
  • Prompt and accurate control of paperwork
  • Loading and Unloading of Materials deliveries
  • Compliance with inventory control measures
  • Compliance with internal environmental and waste management procedures
  • Following Standard Work procedures
  • General Housekeeping Duties

Qualifications

  • QuPrevious experience of working in a fast moving manufacturing environment in a similar role
  • Valid PIT licence, preferably Counterbalance
  • IT literate – previous experience of MRP style system would be advantageous
  • Educated to GCSE standard
  • Understanding of Inventory Control
