Position Summary

This position is responsible for the maintenance, repair and troubleshooting of Genie access equipment throughout Victoria and Tasmania.

 

Responsibilities

  • Carry repairs and servicing of Genie equipment.  
  • Ensure that all relevant paperwork is completed and submitted on time and accurately.
  • Use hazard identification tools and systems to ensure safe work practices are used and work areas are hazard free.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement activities.
  • Develop and maintain effective ongoing relationships with key customers.

 

Position Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Mechanical Trade Qualification (Light Vehicle or Heavy Duty).
  • Current Driver’s License.

Experience 

  • Experience in Electrical, Mechanical and Hydraulic systems.
  • Knowledge of Elevated Work Platforms is desirable.
  • Experience in the access industry (desirable but not essential)

Skills

  • The ability to perform troubleshooting and repair work on machinery.
  • The ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with customers.
  • Good problem solving and communication skills.
  • The ability to work unsupervised.
  • A good understanding of computer systems.
