About the Role:
A new opportunity has arisen for an apprentice to undertake MEM30205 Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade to join the Victorian Service team, based at our Dandenong South premises. You will learn and assist with repairs, rebuilds and maintenance of Terex Material Processing machines and any other miscellaneous heavy fixed plant equipment, while completing a trade qualification.
 

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with the Terex Corporation policies, procedures and work instructions, documented quality system and all OH&S procedures and policies;
  • Assist and learn about the overall delivery of scheduled servicing, periodic inspections, assembly, breakdowns of plant and equipment;
  • By the completion of your apprenticeship you will be able to carry out mechanical repairs and service works, some basic weld repairs, crusher electrical control systems and perform specific machining tasks where required;
  • Maintain effective communications from within the Service Department with all internal and external customers and team members;
  • Assist and develop skills around communicating through all relevant documentation;
  • Represent the company in a professional manner when performing work on-site for customers;
  • Ability to travel to assist and learn how to carry out offsite repairs as well as provide after-hours service to customers.
     

Skills & Experience:

  • Committed to completing an apprenticeship;
  • Self-motivated with an enthusiasm to learn;
  • Mechanical and electrical aptitude;
  • Believe in providing exceptional customer service;
  • Current Driver's License;
  • Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment.
