About the Job: The Regional Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Manager will participate in the development, implementation, and evaluation of programs and initiatives that promote diversity, equity, and inclusion within Terex. Working alongside the Diversity Equity & Inclusion Leader, this role is responsible for developing and aligning regional plans and initiatives to advance Diversity, Equity & Inclusion within the EMEAR and APAC regions.

Position Description:

  • Support the organization’s commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion by fostering a culture of open mindedness, cultural awareness, compassion, and respect for all individuals. 
  • Serve as a proactive thought-leader and collaborator to identify opportunities for best and promising DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) practices. 
  • Provide support for the regional development of the Terex Affinity Groups (AG). 
  • Keep current on AG and DEI best practices, updates, and trends to integrate as appropriate. 
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of company diversity training programs and communications to promote inclusive leadership.
  • Prepare and conduct training sessions and serve as an internal expert.
  • Develop metrics to assess the success of training and DE&I programs. 
  • Work with Marketing and Communications on messaging, website, social media, and communications. Assist in the development of content for internal and external DE&I sites. 
  • Conduct research to understand where diverse talent pools exist and work collaboratively with the recruiting team to execute on diversity sourcing initiatives to tap into those talent pools 
  • Assist with strategy and engagement to broaden company involvement with community and industry workforce development programs.


About You
Basic Qualifications

  • Ability to work across multiple levels of the organization by developing and maintaining effective working relationships and reconciling differing viewpoints.
  • Must have demonstrated success in leading highly collaborative and transparent processes.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills including proven dispute resolution skills. 
  • Able to think proactively, identify problems and solutions, analyze, and establish priorities, exhibit initiative, and meet set deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills and attention to detail, including the ability to manage multiple initiatives concurrently. 
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. 


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • At least three years of experience in the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion field
