ERP Functional Lead, Parts and Services

About the Position:

Title:               ERP Functional Lead, P&S       

Reports to:     Director, IT Business Engagement Lead          

Location:        Northern Ireland            

 

Position Overview:

The ERP Functional Lead is responsible for managing and coordinating ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) implementations, modifications, and enhancements to achieve objectives of scope, cost, schedule, and quality for the Terex Parts & Services (P&S) organization. As part of the Global P&S IT Business Engagement team, you will work closely with technology stakeholders – IT ERP team, IT implementation team, IT project manager, IT business analysts, 3rd party technology partners etc., and business stakeholders to deliver expected benefits and value to customers. Oracle E-Business Suite solution is used for the sales, order management, distribution, and service business functions throughout Terex

Manages and maintains system availability, troubleshoots problems, and provides information.. Serves as functional/technical lead for a small group of ERP Analysts. Maintains strong working relationships within IT and the business organizations.

Responsibilities:

  • Play a key role in the business integration activities between the IT and business team
  • Collaborate with Business stakeholders, IT Business Analysts and IT Architects to gather/analyze business requirements, support the design of technology solutions, perform impact analysis, and drive solution delivery
  • Provide application functional knowledge and expertise in evaluating and improving processes for P&S business functions
  • Evaluate and recommend changes to ERP systems to meet the current future-state objectives of the organization
  • Deploy best practices to improve, simplify and standardize business processes
  • Prepare test plans and evaluate test results for application implementations and enhancements
  • Develop training materials for end users
  • Assist with documenting and executing disaster recovery plans
  • Work closely with Segment IT and IT Support teams to ensure proper post-implementation handoff
  • Provide 2nd level support in investigating and resolving ERP related issues. Provide system information, utilize diagnostic techniques, guide the efforts of the production support and interface with Oracle/3rd party vendor support as required

 

Required Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience in developing/evaluating enterprise ERP applications
  • 5+ years of experience in Oracle EBS in areas like Order Management, Advanced Pricing, Shipping, Warehouse Management, Install Base, Purchasing, Inventory etc.
  • Bachelor’s degree in an Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, MIS or equivalent discipline
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and problem-solving skills
  • Effective influencing and negotiation skills
  • Demonstrated experience interfacing with business and IT partners and functions
  • Ability to work with cross-functional global teams
  • Proven ability to work effectively with all organizational levels
  • Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
  • Experience working both independently and, in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
  • Highest ethics and integrity

Preferred Qualifications:

  • R12 experience strongly preferred, but candidates with strong 11i experience will be considered
  • Exposure to Oracle Commerce Cloud will be a strong advantage
  • Knowledge of Multi-Site, Intercompany and Global trading models
  • Experience in Agile methods and Scrum framework is preferred, including integration into the project delivery framework

 

Travel:

  • Must be willing and able to travel up to 30% of the time, both domestic and international
