Job Type:              Fulltime- Temporary (9-12 months)

Hours:                  37 ¾ hours per week                    

Location:              Lurgan, Northern Ireland

 

Position Overview

The GBS Business Tax Team provides VAT support to multiple Terex entities.  This position is a finance assistant role with opportunity for progression.  Working alongside the Tax Accountant they will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely reconciliation of customs documentation for audit purposes. Due to the large volumes of data strong organisational skills are essential.

 

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reconciliation of Italian customs documentation
  • Tracking and filing of financial and commercial invoices along with supporting documentation
  • Provide assistance with audit requests from Tax Authorities across Europe
  • Ad hoc administrative duties
  • Provide assistance with projects

 

Essential experience and qualifications 

  • A-level or equivalent.
  • Strong organisational skills.
  • Financial administrative experience.
  • Experience of MS Office packages, particularly MS Excel.

 

Desirable though not essential

  • Customs or VAT experience would be desirable though not essential.
  • Experience of working with large volumes of financial data.

 

Travel

  • This role may include some occasional travel to other Terex sites in order to meet business objectives.

Must be a team player able to demonstrate strong customer focus with the energy, drive and commitment to successfully work through any and all issues and objectives related to this role and that of the overall team.
