Entry-Level Business Adminstrator

Position Overview

In this key position the candidate will ensure an effective administrative service, ensuring that as the first point of contact with external stakeholders a professional image of Terex is portrayed. A flawless procedure for welcoming and dealing with customers and ensuring that internal administration requirements are met.  Will help with Sales, Human Resources, Engineering and Finance Departments.  



  • Deal with all incoming and outgoing calls in a timely and courteous manner.
  • Extend professional greeting and welcome to all visitors, dealers, customers and suppliers to site, and any other members of the general public. Maintain visitor database.
  • Assist in the management and implementation of the Company Guest Visitor Program
  • Assist in managing the team member/vendor/guest badging system.
  • Prepare online bookings and paperwork for courier companies.
  • Preparing outgoing mail and delivering mail internally.
  • Maintain office supply orders and deliveries ensuring stocks are maintained.
  • Catering bookings
  • Maintain the tidy upkeep of reception area and general office environment.
  • Manage and book travel arrangements for team members and guests
  • Support Terex Bidwell administrative needs as required
  • Support HR, Sales, Finance, Engineering.  
  • Demonstrate a high degree of flexibility to accept and fulfill any other reasonable duties that may be required from time to time.
  • Be able to work a 8am-4:30pm schedule Monday-Friday




Required Education & Experience

  • Excellent computer literacy with knowledge and experience of computer software such as Microsoft Office
  • Experience in a busy office environment preferably within a shared services environment.
  • Ability to learn quickly, organize, multitask and communicate well are all essential, as is a confident telephone manner.
  • Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated with levels of efficiency and organization skills.
  • Ability to be discreet and use own initiative.
  • Systems knowledge for example, experience of scanning, purchase orders & receiving transactions would be advantageous.
  • Attention to detail is imperative.


Must be a team player able to demonstrate strong customer focus with the energy, drive, and commitment to successfully work through any and all issues and objective related to this role and that of the overall team.
