Position Description

The person in this role should already possess proven work experience and successful performance in sales or operations.  Under the supervision of the Global Director – Terex Financial Services - AWP, he/she will coordinate financing sales activities in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Nordics & Baltics for the Terex Aerial Work Platform (AWP) business.


He/she will work directly with the Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Nordics & Baltics AWP Sales Team. The focus of the role is to help drive finance penetration and high margin incremental sales volume across the spectrum of AWP customers.


Qualified candidates will have to demonstrate a proven track record of establishing and maintaining strong relationships with both internal and external customers.  A key component of the role will be to develop and execute, in concert with the commercial leaders of TFS and Terex AWP, strategies and tactical action plans to achieve or exceed sales goals.


Key Tasks:

  • Initial focus will be on the rollout of the Dealer Financing Program through ABC Bank & Markel across the EMEAR Region.
  • Collect market intelligence and competitions’ offerings and propose proactive direction / program(s) to lead the market.
  • Collaborate with Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Nordics & Baltics AWP Team daily.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Nordics & Baltics AWP customers.
  • Present finance programs to customers and Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Nordics & Baltics AWP Sales Team. 
  • Develop training tools for Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Nordics & Baltics AWP Sales Team to broaden finance knowledge & conduct Quarterly Sales Training.
  • Gather credit information on customers, prepare credit package, and submit to TFS Credit & Preferred Funding Source(s). 
  • Understand and identify customer needs through a consultative & proactive sales approach.  Present Quarterly Account Plans to Leadership Team on Key Customers.
  • Evaluate success by measuring Finance Penetration and Incremental Sales.
  • Attend industry trade shows.  Accompany Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Nordics & Baltics AWP Equipment Team to present and sell the benefits of using TFS as a solution to finance needs.
  • Preparation and delivery of timely reporting to AWP & TFS management by regularly updating TFS Module in SFDC and/or the Master Deal Tracker.
  • Constant focus on improving efficiency & automation using Terex/TFS IT systems and any digital tools available from Preferred Funding Source(s).


Minimum Required Qualifications


Basic Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or pertinent degree.
  • 5+ years of experience in sales, in leasing/asset finance or operations.
  • 5+ years of working both with dealers/channel partners and end customers.
  • MS applications, Super Trump, QlikView and SalesForce.
  • Clean driving record.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Captive or Vendor Financing preferred in Aerial or related industries
  • Candidate must have a good understanding of lease and loan structuring and credit underwriting policies and procedures. 
  • Self-motivated, high energy and positive attitude.
  • Ability to work within a multi-functional team.
  • Ability to work in an environment with constantly changing priorities.
  • Proficient using financial calculators and structuring lease and finance transactions.
  • Strong Negotiation skills.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and listening skills.
  • Ability to influence at all levels of the organization.


Language Requirements:  Local language & English are essential


Travel:  30%
