Telematics Operations Intern

Telematics Overview:

Genie Lift Connect is Genie’s proprietary telematics program.  Lift Connect telematics devices are installed in our factories.  The device reads data off the machine and reports data to a web portal customers can then use to remotely manage their equipment in the field.  The telematics team manages all the business related processes required to install, sell, and support the device.

  • Partner with team members from global locations – 5 manufacturing locations worldwide.

Real World Responsibilities:

During your time with us you will:

  • Support deployment of Oracle Subscription Manager SAAS
  • Support telematics customer service ops; managing audits, service contracts, root cause analysis and response, etc.
  • Help drive customer adoption of telematics through targeted projects

As part of our team we will:

  • Provide you with real-work assignments that will provide you valuable experience as you begin your career
  • Offer support and constructive feedback throughout the internship

 

Must haves:

  • Currently pursuing a bachelors degree or higher in Business Administration, Operations Management, or similar field.  Minimum of 2 years of university completed
  • Able to work full-time 40 hours per week for 3 months in Bothell, WA
  • Ability to work autonomously and with ambiguity
  • Ability to work with a diverse team and across functions
  • Strong project management and communication skills
  • Utilize analysis tools to understand and develop efficient processes in line with lean manufacturing principles
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills

 

Nice to haves:

  • ERP software deployment experience
  • Customer service experience
  • Are adaptable, innovative, and proactive
