Senior Sales Operations Manager - AWP Global Parts

About the Job

The Sr. Sales Operations Manager – AWP Global Parts is responsible for developing, executing and improving Demand, Economic, and Forecasting Management Systems that will drive improved revenue. Responsible for revenue and market forecasting of Genie (Terex AWP) parts products globally. This includes leading the global sales operations & forecasting process (S&OP) and monthly outlook reviews with executive leadership. The position will lead also the parts data analytics team and drive the development and continual improvement of the commercial operations engine. Instilling measurement and knowing the score into the sales and commercial process.

 

  • Lead the development of a commercial performance evaluation system with feedback loops directly to the field, using CRM data, and advanced analysis.
  • Guide data driven methods to identify gaps in revenue performance and provide targeted opportunities to the product and sales teams.
  • Lead the overall Global Revenue & Market Forecasting process. This will include preparing content, recommendations, and leading monthly executive decision/outlook meetings.
  • Maintain, develop, and improve short-term through long-term forecasting models and strategies.
  • Determine and communicate forecast confidence, including risks and opportunities, to relevant functional groups.
  • Identify key Econometric indicators for business and develop monthly reporting informing executive leadership of market outlook.
  • Measure analyze and report key sales & process metrics, and measure results against key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Conducts extensive analysis of historical orders, sales pipeline data and market information to improve sales campaign effectiveness and forecast accuracy.
  • Work with commercial tools and telematics/commercial teams to develop dashboard and reporting tools.
  • Establish, determine, utilize, & enhance best forecasting methods (statistical models, processes and software tools).

 

 

About You

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Engineering or Business-related program.
  • 3 years of leadership experience in a commercially related function.
  • Strong in math, CRM, ERP, Data, and Excel skills.
  • Capability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast pace environment.
  • Ability to effectively communicate globally to all levels of the organization.
  • Strong technical and statistical aptitude.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Located near Bothel, WA office
  • Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Economics or related field.
  • Past experience with managing a team.
  • 5+ years of experience in demand planning or forecasting, commercial performance oversight, and statistical analysis.
