Marketing Coordinator

Overview:
Genie is currently seeking a Marketing Coordinator to join the Brand Strategy team and help drive global demand for a diverse portfolio of mobile elevating work platforms globally. Reporting to the Brand Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating promotional activities, and marketing collateral production. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with those in Brand Management and Regional Field Marketing, coordinating Genie branded assets, high-quality promotional material, content updates and ad hoc support tasks on time and on budget.
Responsibilities:
Project management of a wide variety of research tasks, content updates, branded assets, and digital marketing
Oversee international vendors to provide cost estimates, develop promotional content and physical or digital assets according to the Genie Brand Guidelines
Coordinate quotes, invoice approvals, budget excel updates and invoice processing
Support generation of a wide variety of reporting, including competitive information, revenue trends and digital metrics
Develop internal/external PowerPoint presentations
Be an excellent communicator who can engage teams across functions as well as external stakeholders
Knowledge and Skills:
Broad understanding of various marketing tools and campaign tactics
Ability to work well and take direction in a cross-functional, international team environment
Genuine passion for understanding what drives B2B purchase decisions
Comfortable handling multiple projects simultaneously
Demonstrated self-starter – ability to take initiative and navigate ambiguity
Strength in dealing with tight deadlines and rapidly changing priorities
Demonstrated project management skills
Proficiency in content management, producing and proofing written content, spreadsheet and presentation software
Problem-solving skills, with an ability to identify risks, resolve issues, and communicate with stakeholders
Strong interpersonal skills - team player with a positive attitude
Ability to work ad hoc PST work hours
Analytical with strong attention to detail
Ability to travel up to 10%
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field
- Prior internship in Marketing, or similar experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2+ years of relevant work experience in B2B marketing
- Experience working within an OEM
- Experience working for an e-commerce business
- Ability to present data and make recommendations
- Background in customer research – both quantitative and qualitative
