Position               :  Field Service Engineer

Location               :  Ankara, Turkey

Reporting to        :  Regional Manager

 

We are currently seeking a qualified Field Service Technician who is driven, results oriented, and a positive team player to join our growing team to support our Ankara, Turkey location. The Field Service Technician will report directly to the Regional Sales and Marketing Manager. Candidate must reside in Ankara and will be responsible for the servicing of equipment in Turkey, Central Asia, North Africa and Middle Eastern region.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mining, Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronics Engineering are preferred.
  • Experience in technical support of heavy construction equipment preferably in Crushing and Screening market.
  • Good oral language skills in English and excellent command of written & spoken Turkish to communicate effectively with management and customers.
  • Ability to manage customers at site in order to solve problems and extend good relationship with existing customers.
  • MS Office and PC skill is a must.
  • Ability to read and understand technical repair manuals and service literature, and utilize them to diagnose and repair equipment.
  • Self-motivated personality with good communication skills and the ability to develop and deliver training to individuals and groups
  • Technical problem-solving and mechanical troubleshooting skills
  • Having a valid driving license & no obstacle for domestic and international traveling.
  • Completion of military service for male candidates.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

 

  • Be responsible for customer’s call back, technical support and problem solving.
  • Provide both on-site and phone technical support to customers and dealers.
  • Maintain, repair, diagnose, and inspect a variety of crushing, screening, washing, and environmental equipment.
  • Works closely with sales team to meet customer’s needs during commissioning and implementation of projects.
  • Maintain a safe working environment and recognize potential risks.
  • Train customer/end user on the operation of the equipment. Obtain required sign-off documents.
  • Normal working hours are approximately 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, M-F, however, customer support needs will necessitate longer working days, overnight travel, as well as weekend work when required.
  • Provide the necessary and timely commitments to ensure company success.
  • Other duties as assigned.
