What Our Interns Say:

“I have completed two internships at Genie, which allowed me to expand upon classroom skills and gain many meaningful connections. The first summer, as a Design Engineer Co-op, I was able to design steel plates, make drawings, and work on the engine grounding in a new product. The next summer, it was very satisfying to follow that project to the next step in the process, as an intern in the Manufacturing Technical Systems (MTS) team, where I got to create and build out the assembly process for that engine in production. Coming back, one thing that I definitely looked forward was the teammates. The culture and work ethic from the team is extremely welcoming and inspiring, and I’m excited that I was offered a full-time position to stay on the team!”
Manufacturing Engineer Intern

“Throughout my internships at Terex I was able to develop an in depth understanding of international and domestic tax. The complex work which was assigned to me help develop my skills and knowledge which I am able to apply to my work even after Terex. The professionalism, knowledge and drive to teach in the Terex staff is like no other. Your managers are very available and open to answers any type of questions whether its work or career oriented. The activities for the interns allowed us to form great relationships, even after the internship had finished. Overall my time at Terex has helped me develop professionally and has opened door for future work opportunities.”
Corporate Tax Intern

“From day one as a Terex intern, I was treated like full time employee, through getting to work on real projects that impacted production team members, which allowed me to be fully immersed in Terex culture. In my main project, I worked on the electrical subcomponent supermarkets by verifying and reorganizing parts. I have also worked on other projects that have allowed me to gain exposure to a variety of career options within the industry. Working under my supervisor and having a mentor has helped me focus on strengthening my skills and developing new ones, giving me confidence to continue pursuing this field.”
