“I have completed two internships at Genie, which allowed me to expand upon classroom skills and gain many meaningful connections. The first summer, as a Design Engineer Co-op, I was able to design steel plates, make drawings, and work on the engine grounding in a new product. The next summer, it was very satisfying to follow that project to the next step in the process, as an intern in the Manufacturing Technical Systems (MTS) team, where I got to create and build out the assembly process for that engine in production. Coming back, one thing that I definitely looked forward was the teammates.
